"Megan Monroy won 1st place Overall Female Age Group Olympic Distance (of 808 female competitors) at the prestigious Wildflower Triathlon at Lake San Antonio, California (May 2, 2010).  Her winning time was 2:26:56 for the 1.5K swim (.93 miles), 40K bike (24.8 miles), and 10K run (6.2 miles).  Megan improved her time from last year by 10 minutes.  Last year was only her very first Olympic Distance Triathlon.
