Having Fun in the Desert Triathlon, Megan's Relay Team Places 1st!!

The Desert Triathlon- A warm morning in the desert sun, the all ladies relay team Megan was on pushes through to a first place victory overall female. The team consisted of two other lady triathletes, Heather and Teresa,  also looking to just go out there and have fun.  Monroy's portion of the race was the bike leg, a 24 mile flat and fast course.  Her bike split was just shy of the fastest finishing female pro triathlete on the course; Megan finished with a speedy 2nd fastest female bike time on the course.

Megan says, "It was a first for me to enter a race in a relay.  I was so excited to enter the race last minute with two wonderful and amazing lady triathles. We went out there to just have fun and we did just that."
