5K run- Megan is the First Female to Cross the Finish Line!

A perfect overcast morning for a 5K run, and about 5,000 runners showed up to lovely Seal Beach to participate in the annual 5/10K run/walk.  Although she added 30 seconds to her final mile split time due to one of her legs going completely numb from a pinched sciatiac nerve,  Monroy crosses the finish line as the first 5K female finisher.  It was her first official stand alone 5K since Jr. High and she says, "It was fun to actually run the whole thing this time around.  The race came and went so quickly."  The last mile of the race, her
